David Deno was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cracker Barrel in August 2026. An accomplished restaurant and retail industry executive, Mr. Deno has more than four decades of experience and a strong track record of driving strategic execution, revitalized financial performance and profitable growth across leading brands.

Mr. Deno most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Bloomin' Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLMN) — parent company of Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar — from 2019 to 2024. He joined Bloomin’ Brands in 2012 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and led the company through its initial public offering. Prior to Bloomin' Brands, Mr. Deno served as President of Asia and Chief Financial Officer for the International Division at Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY). Earlier in his career, he spent more than 15 years at Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) and Pizza Hut (prior to its ownership by Yum! Brands), including serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Yum! Brands and as CFO of Pizza Hut. Mr. Deno began his career in the restaurant industry at Burger King Corporation.

He currently serves on the boards of directors of Panera Brands and Krispy Kreme, Inc. (Nasdaq: DNUT).

Mr. Deno earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from Macalester College.
