LEBANON, Tenn., Mar 22, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Seafood lovers can enjoy a flavorful twist on a traditional southern stew as Cracker Barrel Old Country Store(R) is now serving its very own Low Country Boil. Featured on Cracker Barrel's Spring menu, the new Low Country Boil includes wild shrimp caught along America's gulf coast, thick slices of andouille sausage, and a variety of country vegetables blended together with traditional shrimp boil seasonings.

Cracker Barrel's Low Country Boil is one of four new lunch/dinner options on its Spring menu. Now available at 594 Cracker Barrel locations in 41 states, the limited-time menu also features North Atlantic Grilled Haddock, a Spicy Grilled Catfish with Country Fried Shrimp entree, and a Grilled Chicken Baby Spinach Salad.

"These lunch/dinner options bring a Cracker Barrel taste to these traditional favorites," said Cracker Barrel Chef Bill Kintzler. "For the Low Country Boil, the shrimp, andouille sausage, celery, and seasonings are cooked to order. When it's blended with our country vegetables, the Low Country Boil provides a new and fresh taste for everyone, including people who grew up enjoying this coastal favorite."

Cracker Barrel's special offerings for Spring also highlight breakfast and dessert favorites. Momma's Pancake Breakfast(R) with Blackberry Topping is a great way to start the day. For dessert, Cracker Barrel is serving its classic Strawberry Shortcake. The Spring menu is available until May 16th, 2010.
