Ms. Cochran became President and Chief Executive Officer on September 12, 2011 following her service as Cracker Barrel's President and Chief Operating Officer, a post she assumed in November 2010. She joined Cracker Barrel in April, 2009 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She was previously CEO at the nation's 3rd largest book retailer, Books-A-Million, Inc. for the prior five years. She also served as that company's president from 1999 and its chief financial officer from 1993 to 1999. As Vice President, Finance at Books-A-Million, Ms. Cochran was part of the leadership team that took the company public in 1992 and completed a secondary offering in 1993.
Ms. Carmichael joined Cracker Barrel in 2014 with over 20 years of HR leadership experience, including roles as Senior Vice President of labor and employee relations and Vice President of People at Southwest Airlines; additionally she served as the Chief People Officer at Ticketmaster.
Doug Couvillion was named Senior Vice President, Sourcing and Supply Chain in 2016 after his role as Vice President of Supply Chain and Quality Assurance in 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Couvillion served as Cracker Barrel’s Vice President, Corporate Controller & Principal Accounting Officer. He joined Cracker Barrel in 2001 as Vice President of Finance. In his current position, Mr. Couvillion leads our Sourcing and Supply Chain functions and is responsible for the sourcing of food, equipment and supplies, the distribution of retail merchandise, quality assurance and flight operations. Mr. Couvillion has 20 years of experience in the restaurant and retail industries and previously held positions at Landry's Restaurants and Deloitte.
Ms. Daily joined Cracker Barrel in May, 2012 as Senior Vice President of Retail, which includes responsibility for all aspects of the Company's retail merchandising, planning and allocation functions. She has over 20 years of experience as a merchant with a number of retail organizations. Prior to joining Cracker Barrel, she served as Vice President for Ballard Designs, an Internet and catalog home furnishings retailer that is part of HSN, Inc., where she was in charge of all merchandising and trends for the company.
A 15-year veteran of S & A Restaurant Corporation, where he served in several leadership roles, Mr. Flanagan joined Cracker Barrel as Restaurant Regional Vice President, advanced to the role of Vice President of Restaurant Operations in August 2008, then to SVP of Restaurant Operations in 2010, and in his current role since 2012.
Ms. Golder became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on June 6, 2016. She was previously at Ruby Tuesday, Inc. for three years where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the past two years. She also served as Chief Financial Officer for Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants from 2012 to 2013. Prior to this, Ms. Golder served in progressively more responsible positions during her 23 years at Darden Restaurants, Inc., including Senior Vice President of Finance for Olive Garden, Senior Vice President of Finance for Smokey Bones, Senior Vice President of Finance for the Specialty Restaurant Group, and Senior Vice President of Finance for Red Lobster. She also served as Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Analysis for Domino's Pizza International from 1994 to 1995.
Mr. Hoffman has nearly 30 years of marketing and communications experience, including a variety of leadership roles at a number of major consumer communication companies. He joined Cracker Barrel in 2015 as Vice President, Marketing and was named Senior Vice President, Marketing in 2017. Prior to Cracker Barrel, Mr. Hoffman served as an Executive Vice President at DDB Worldwide Communications Group, guiding long-term marketing and communications strategies on many major consumer brands including J.C. Penny, Safeway, Dell and the multi-national McDonald’s account.
